I’ve never had the urge to buy a home decor item that is as hard to decorate as the home itself, but the sunflower is the perfect example.
While its been the subject of a number of articles about how much it costs to decorating a home, the actual actual amount of money you spend to decorator a home has been fairly vague.
The Sunflower is by far the most costly piece of home decor in the world, with estimates ranging anywhere from $5 million to $10 million.
That said, a few home decorating experts have made an attempt to estimate the actual cost of a home renovation and have come up with the figure of $10,000 to $12,000 per house.
So, if you want to be a little more specific, you can spend up to $11,500 per house to decor it up, according to a study published in the Journal of Home Preservation.
The study used data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey to estimate total median and median income of households and their average expenditures on home renovations.
The median and average expenses per home in the United States are based on Census data from 2013 and 2014, but a few other sources have come forward to estimate how much these expenses would have to be adjusted for inflation.
For example, one of the more popular and reliable sources of information on the cost of home renovation is the National Association of Realtors (NAR), which publishes their own research, which estimates the total costs of home renovations across a wide range of market segments, such as the total annual expenditures for renovation on a home in 2013.
The NAR also reports that in 2017, the average monthly spending for renovation was $1,936, which was the same as in 2012.
If you’re wondering how much money you’d need to spend on a Sunflower to get that much of a mark down, it’s likely closer to $5.5 million, according the National Home Realtor Association (NHRA).
But wait, there’s more!
As the cost to buy and decorate a home continues to rise, so does the number of homeowners who are spending money on a house renovation.
According to the National Multiple Listing Service (NMLS), from 2013 to 2017, homes in the top 10 percent of value-adjusted income spent $7,639,000, which is up by about $2,600 from the year before.
As home values continue to rise in many places, so do the costs of renovation, which has been a significant driver of the increase in home prices.
The average cost of renovating a new home in 2017 was $3,743, with the median house price in the U!
rising by $1.5 percent.
